-Third-degree burn at this level entire thickness of skin burnt and destroying dermal plexus of nerves.

-Fourth-degree burn up to this level muscle, tendon, and bone destroyed.

Treatment for Chemical Burn Injury

Chemical burns are normally occurring when strong acids or alkalis somehow get in touch with skin. However, the degree of burn depends upon the time duration of chemical remains on the skin. As long as, it remains on the skin causes injury deeper and deeper. The treatment of chemical injury is

-First washed the affected area with fresh running water, for this preferably use shower or faucet

Treatment for Thermal Burn Injury

Thermal burn is one of the most widespread burn injury caused by steam, flames, hot surfaces or hot liquids etc. The degree and extent of injury are depending upon the degree of temperature and time duration skin is exposed to it. The first care to take until get proper medication is

-Remove the contact of skin with the hot object.

-Cool the burnt area with fresh water (but should not be ice) as soon as possible, because it is very effective in controlling the extent of the burn.

-Do not remove blisters at home.

-In order to get pain relief you may use acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
As depending upon the degree of burn injury, burnt victims need to admit in hospital immediately for extensive medical treatment.
